Statue
of Liberty Million Dollar Bill
Statue of Liberty Cruise
Statue of Liberty Tours
The image of the Statue of Liberty has
been used on American bills and coins. The following bill is
false, since the largest U.S. bills ever 'officially' minted were
$100,000 gold certificates that were used for transfers only among
the Federal Reserve Banks. This one is supposedly a
nonnegotiable platinum certificate that was printed by a Canadian
firm. Today's largest denomination is $100; the larger bills
of $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 were taken out of circulation
during World War II.
